This hunting lodge in Bankovci, Serbia, is a contemporary interpretation of traditional mountain architecture, shaped through a combination of natural materials, warm textures, and carefully planned spatial organization. The project includes both the interior and exterior, creating a unified architectural composition that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape and strengthens the connection between the building and nature.
The interior is defined by solid wood, natural stone, and details inspired by hunting heritage, all reinterpreted through a contemporary design approach. Expansive glazing frames views of the landscape and fills the spaces with natural light, while covered terraces, stone façades, and thoughtfully designed outdoor areas extend the living experience beyond the interior. The result is an authentic retreat that combines rustic character, contemporary comfort, and timeless architecture.
