Casa Al Este, a residential villa in Zadar, Croatia, interprets the character of Dalmatia through contemporary architecture and interior design. Inspired by the natural elements of the Dalmatian landscape, including stone, sand, wood, and water, the interior is shaped through soft curved forms, natural textures, and a warm neutral palette.
Organically shaped niches, sculptural wall elements, and the thoughtful use of natural and indirect light create continuity throughout the different areas of the home. The connection between interior and exterior further emphasizes the villa’s Mediterranean character, creating a contemporary residential environment.
